Welcome to HOPE
We at the Humanist Organization for Pacific Ecology (HOPE) are an international coalition of young adults who are dedicated to helping one of the smallest nations in the world combat the growing issue of climate change, which threatens the inhabitants' very existence. Through the building of infrastructure, the educating of locals and co-operation with the local government, HOPE and the people of Tulavu will create a truly-economically friendly, sustainable future for the small island nation. After all, a more environmentally friendly world is a safer one!
We live in constant fear of the adverse impacts of climate change. For a coral atoll nation, sea level rise and more severe weather events loom as a growing threat to our entire population. The threat is real and serious, and is of no difference to a slow and insidious form of terrorism against us."

Advocating Change
What We Do
We are not doing much at the moment due to the lack of funds, but our future goals are the following:
•Establish contact with the government of Tuvalu to discuss climate change and the rising sea levels.
•Bring the issue facing Tuvalu to mainstream media attention.
•Eventually help fund the technology to help Tuvalu fight this menace.

One of our main causes here at World Youth for a Sustainable Tuvalu is Clothing Drives, an issue that touches many lives, particularly those in Tuvalu. Fighting Climate Change
Ending the Need for Climate Refugees
The Primary and most important mission of the World Youth for a Sustainable Tuvalu is fighting the consequences of climate change currently destroying one of the most unique cultures of the world. Through infrastructure and economic development the Charity seeks to end the need for Climate Change Refugees and secure a future for Tuvalu and Tuvaloo children
